Tartakover - Tel-Aviv

A hardcover book containing Tel Aviv drawings from the years 2015-2020 of the graphic designer, artist, curator, collector and winner of the Israel Design Award for 2002 David Tartakover , who redefined the language of Israeli design. The drawings, made in a black moleskin notebook in pocket format, are printed in 1:1 size.

From a long tradition of urban impressions, Tertkover sits in Tel Aviv in the 2000s on a bench in the shade of a tree, puts the espresso cup next to him and writes down in his small notebook the city spread out in front of him, moving, changing, a city without stopping. From page to page he reveals himself at his best: a free register, observing and reacting, capturing time and life.
